So, that was a short intro about Julian, and now we start with questions :)

SV: Julian, when did you started taking interest in music and which artists have inspired you?
Well, the first attention to house & techno was at my first club visits in 2005. Suddenly I fell in love with that type of electronic music and began to DJing and producing my own tracks. Sebastién Legér was definitely one of the biggest inspiritaions in the past.

SV: You had an opportunity to play all around Germany, and in some festivals, so which of them is your personal favorite?
My personal favorite club gig was my first time at legendary Harry Klein Munich. It was the first time with a fantastic audience and I loved to share my Live Set with them.
It was always a dream of me to play at Sonne Mond Sterne Festival. I met a lot of nice artists, had dinner with KANT, entered the Mainstage while Deadmau5 was performing and though me and Compact Grey were playing b2b the last slot at 6:30 the crowd was freaky amazing!

(Here you can see more pictures from Harry Klein Club)

SV: What’s goin’ on in Germany’s electronic music scene? What is most popular right now, which artists and which music? In Berlin, there is real expansion of electronic music so we suppose it’s good in Munich too. Have you played in Berlin?
Germany is a breeding ground for a lot of new talents in the electronic music scene. Yes I had the opportunity to play at a little Open-Air festival in Berlin with Stefan Biniak and Format:B.
Many artists move to Berlin because it has a fantastic music scene. But Munich is approaching with amazing underground clubs like Harry Klein, KONG, Rote Sonne and Bob Beaman which always appear in a lot of Top10 votings for best clubs in Germany.

SV: Listening to your tracks we can see that you like loud basslines? :)
What inspires you in making music and which sound do you pursue the most?
You’re right – personally loving melodic and groovy dancefloor-oriented music between House and Techno with influences of Tech and Deep House.

SV: Which is your favorite track from the last couple of weeks?
Julian Wassermann & Geyo – Polaroid (Nick D-Lite Remix)

SV: You are going on Utopia Island festival this Summer, which is a really big thing. Are you excited? Where else can we hear your sets  and do you have more of them confirmed?
Utopia Island is a very modern music festival with great line up. Proud to be resident for this festival! There will be some cool club gigs at FLUX and KONG and playing at Sputnik Spring Break festival with Compact Grey. Of course there are more bookings to be announced.

7. If you could pick stage where you can play music, what would be your choice? (location, festival etc.)
Hmm hard decision, but I would pick Miami WMC.

SV:  Tell us something about your next release on Submarine Vibes. You have done remix for Petros Odin – Feeling so high. How do you like this EP and what are your expectations from this release?
A very variety Ep with cool original and two unique sounding remixes. Would be cool to have some Beatport support on this. EP is coming out on next Monday, 30.03. @ Beatport, exclusively.
